Drivers Permits Information

You can get your visitors permit from us if you are renting a car from us and this can be done at collection time and there is a minimal $10 US fee , but can now get it online even before you arrive. 

If you are a visitor who wishes to drive on the roads of Barbados and have a valid (not expired)  drivers licence from your own country you can apply for visitors registration certificate commonly known as a visitors permit. Persons should submit their application online via e-mail to permits at bra.gov bb. The application form can be found on www.bra.gov.bb.

There are two types of application one for under or up to two months the other for one year $100 US.
